Our Team

AeroDragons is a competitive recreational team and we are a member team of the Southern California Dragon Boat Club (SCDBC).

Our goal is to empower and train individuals to become outstanding paddlers and to cultivate a deeper appreciation for Asian/Pacific and other cultural heritages through team building, recreation, friendship and fun.

We have been paddling since 2004.

Founded in 2004 by The Aerospace Corporation employees Mary Melton, Judy Shimamura and Frances Vien, our team will celebrate its 22nd anniversary this year!
