EVERYONE'S doing a great job keeping up at practices. Drills will be getting tougher -
PLEASE make sure you're working on LAND TRAINING and STRETCHING!
PRACTICES THIS WEEK: THURS 6PM - "A" TEAM ONLY SAT 7AM - "A" TEAM ONLY SAT 9AM - A/B TEAMS SUN 9AM - ALL
DON'T FORGET YOUR LAND TRAINING - don't forget your 3 sets of 40 sit-ups, 40 push-ups, 40 squats, 40 leg raises - 3 times a week.
DO NOT PARK ON APPIAN WAY. Please park in the metered parking or the Boy Scout lot south of 2nd Street bridge.

EVERYONE'S doing a great job at practices; I know it's been tough, but we're really coming together as one team, keep it up!

SAVE THE DATE - TEAM MEETING (PARTY) is scheduled for SAT, 7/19 at Mary & Jerry's house at around 4PM. This will be a potluck di
nner, BYOB, we will be discussing logistics for the race, etc. Evite for this will follow.COACHING AND STEERING CERTIFICATION - there will be another Coaching/Steering Clinic to be held on SAT June 28th. Please let us know if you'd be interested in becoming either an SCDBC-Certified Coach or Steersperson.
MANDATORY SATURDAYS FROM NOW UNTIL RACE WEEKEND - MAKE SURE YOU'RE KEEPING UP WITH YOUR LAND TRAINING!! Those of you who are on the "A" Team - we may be starting up Thursday evenings at 6P (or whenever you can get there - we can come back to get you). ALL of you may want to get more paddling time in on SUNDAYS too if you can! We're only 4 weekends away . . . from race weekend.

FOLKS OVER 40 YRS OLD we are looking for paddlers interested in a Master's crew to paddle in

AFRICA TRIP we are in the initial stages of planning a trip to a dragon boat race that will be held in Mombasa, Kenya around December 11-15. Let me know if you're interested!
