NO PRACTICE THIS SAT - HOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY!
NEXT PRACTICE IS NEXT SAT 12/1 --- REMINDER THAT PRACTICE STARTS AT 9AM --- we are limited to 1 1/2 hour practices - we'll be done by 11A. PLEASE RSVP TO THIS EVITE FOR 12/1 PRACTICE! LAND TRAINING - don't forget your 3 sets of 30 sit-ups, 30 push-ups, 30 squats, 30 leg raises - 3 times a week . . .
OUTRIGGER ON SUNDAYS? We may be funding a "team" membership for Hui Lokahi Outrigger Club - practicing on SUN's at 2P --- let me know if you're interested.
DO NOT PARK ON APPIAN WAY. Please park in the metered parking or the Boy Scout lot south of 2nd Street bridge.
DON'T FORGET TO RSVP FOR NAPLES BOAT PARADE here! If you are on the "maybe" list, please let us know if you'll be participating for sure; if not, we will open up participation to Electric Dragons. AERODRAGONS -
NEW PRACTICE TIME FOR SATURDAYS - with the growing number of dragon boat teams in Long Beach - practice times have been cut down to 1 1/2 hours. AeroDragons will NOW MEET AT 9AM ON SAT for warm-up. We are on the water at 9:30AM and will practice until 11A only.

AERODRAGONS - Happy Halloween Everyone!
CONGRATS TO DOROTHY & HENRY who "tied the knot" last SAT-see picture of the handsome couple and bridal party (including Caroline, Jonathan and Brian)!. Lots of AeroDragons in attendance including Lorie, Damon, Wil, Allita, Joannza, Dee, Pat, Jerry and Mary . . .
PICTURES of AeroDragons at Universal Studios Halloween Haunt (from Josh) are up in the photo gallery. Highlight: poor Grace screaming while being cornered by 3 monsters in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre maze.
PRACTICE - We are back to SAT ONLY practices for the rest of the year. Practice this SAT 9:30A. Please RSVP to the Evite OR this e-mail.
***The US DRAGON BOAT FEDERATION CHAMPIONSHIPS will be held in Long Beach at our festival over THREE (3) days - July 25, 26 AND 27. (Yes, you need to take FRI off to compete in the 1000m and 250m races). AeroDragons, WE have the potential to be contenders IF WE MAKE A SERIOUS COMMITMENT to PRACTICE AND LAND TRAINING STARTING NOW! Let us know if you would be willing to compete as an AeroDragon in the USDBF CHAMPIONSHIPS and are willing to COMMIT to practices and land training. If we do well in the nationals, we qualify for the 2009 WORLD DRAGON BOAT CHAMPIONSHIPS in Moscow, Russia (tentative). Coach Dee will be bumping up our practices to the next level in anticipation of racing at the USDBF Championships. We need to shave 10-12 seconds off our current times - be prepared! ***
ANYONE WANT TO CONTRIBUTE TO A TEAM OUTRIGGER? COACH DEE would like to know if any of you would like to share costs to buy a 2-man outrigger for the team . . .
