GREAT JOB NEW PADDLERS Anthony, Enold, Caroline, Derek & Jonathan (and returning paddlers Cassandra & Paul) at SAT practice --- also special thanks to Tony from Lokahi Outrigger Club for helping us out!

PRACTICE WED/SAT/SUN --- PLEASE RSVP for THIS WED/SAT/SUN practice, make sure you arrive PROMPTLY at 6:00PM WED,or 9:30AM SAT, or 8:30AM SUN for warm-up.

LONG BEACH IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER - a reminder that AeroDragon SAT/SUN practices are 2 hours - please make sure you stay for the full 2 hours at practice . . .

TAKING ORDERS FOR CARBON FIBER PADDLES THIS WEEK! Let me know ASAP if you want to order one ($140-$180 estimate).

T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST for 2006 LB DB Festival shirts - for AeroDragons who are artisticallly inclined. Deadline for entries is June 15th.

VOLUNTEERS FOR THE TRAVEL EXPO JUNE 17 & 18 -- The second annual NBC4 / T52 Travel Expo returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 17 and 18, 2006, from 10AM to 5PM. Dr. Chen needs volunteers, 2 for aftnoon shift SAT, 2 for morning shift for SUN of this event. Let me know if you're interested!

LAND TRAINING --- Stay with reps to 3 sets of 60 at 4X/week. Keep STRETCHING. . . AND ROTATION DRILLS (3 X10 windmills - full body twist looking up at your hand when you twist . . .)

EAT YO'SELF SOMETHIN' in the morning before you come to practice (think bananas, energy bars, carbs/protein, etc..). Your body needs food to produce energy to paddle. We don't want you to get sick while out on the water. Also, bring water or Gatorade to hydrate yourself while paddling.

Hey AeroDragons ---

ANNOUNCEMENT - Coach Dee and Pat will be moving on to greener pastures (actually desert-like sandy pastures . . .) to Arizona. This is a HUGE loss for us, but a GREAT opportunity for both Pat & Dee. The AeroDragons Board will be meeting this week to discuss options - we should have more information for you by next week.

NO WED & SUN PRACTICE THIS WEEK.

ERIN IS GRADUATING and has invited AeroDragons to her graduation party: FROM ERIN: "It will be held on June 17th at 3pm. It will be at my house which is 1773 Gates Avenue, Manhattan Beach CA 90266. I am asking people to RSVP by June 1st by calling my house line at 310-467-0965...in order to know how much tacos and beer we'll need to have!"

GREAT WINS LONG BEACH LOCAL CREW - 1st Place in the 250M (1:12) and 2nd Place in the 500M (2:30.60) - thanks for all your hard work and being able to support us on Mother's Day!

SPECIAL THANKS TO GERRY for picking up our lunch for us! ERIN - Brad has your paddle. HENRY - I have your paddle. Did anyone lose some reading glasses at the beach?
