Great practices this weekend guys! Lots of stretching this week, back off on your land training and no injuries! Attached is the soft copy of the San Francisco Trip Document Rev. 1 --- please make sure you read this, print it out and bring with you to San Francisco. Also attached are transportation instructions for those of you flying into SFO or OAK outlining options on how to get to the hotel and information on discounts for Hertz rental cars if you'll be needing a rental car.
Some comments from the race organizers:
Weather: Expect early morning temperatures to be around 60 F or 15 C; afternoon temperatures to be warm and sunny around 70 F or 21 C. However, this being San Francisco, expect the fog to roll in so dress in layers.
Race Grid: Will be posted on the website by Monday, next week....maybe earlier.
Shuttle Schedule: This is tied to the race schedule but will also be posted on the website as well as in both hotel lobbies.
IMPORTANT
Please meet at the race site (Ripple Effect tent) by 7:30AM SAT morning - racing starts promptly at 8AM. The schedule should be out early this week. It will be forwarded to you when it's out!
We will have a team dinner after racing SAT at approximately 6PM (place TBD). Those who are interested --- we'll be going to a dance club (place TBD) with Jet Start from Canada probably after dinner (bring your club clothes).

RACE INFO
AeroDragons will only field a MIXED team this year. We will not be entering a Men's, Women's or Master's team.
The race organizers advise that this year they have a larger competitive division - the largest they've ever had. As a result, racing will go later on Sunday than usual. In the past, they have ended by 3:30PM with awards ceremony afterwards. This year, racing will most likely go longer in the afternoon (5:00PM or so, with awards ceremony afterwards), so they recommend that you plan on flying out Monday or late Sunday night.
RIPPLE EFFECT will be hosting us again this year.
And . . . NO, we're not going to do the party or skit this year ;-)
