MIAMI CREW - 2 weeks til the race. Try to come to as many practices as you can in the next two weekends.
WED practices are pau for the season. We'll start them back up again in the Spring.
SAVE THE DATE - SAT OCT 22, 9AM, Boat Repair/Maintenance Day - no practice. We will all pitch in to help sand and varnish the boats along with the other year-around teams.
SAVE THE DATE - SAT NOV 5, 10AM, Mary/Jerry's house - AERODRAGON GENERAL MEETING in lieu of practice. AGENDA: Elections, next year's race schedule, other miscellaneous business (ski day, ice-skating day, volleyball day, biking day, etc.).
VICE PRESIDENT AND TREASURER positions are open. If you're interested, you must be accessible to Aerospace Corp (El Segundo) to attend AEA meetings, sign checks. Nominations are being accepted - please send to me!
PRACTICES on SAT 9:30A and SUN 8:30A on C2 Yellow Boat. COACH DEE says boost your sets to 50 sit-ups/push-ups and add stretching to your regimen (while standing, bend your head down to your knees)
PLEASE RSVP FOR THE DAY YOU'RE COMING and make sure you arrive PROMPTLY at 9:30A SAT or 8:30A SUN for warm-up.
REMINDER 1: Eat something in the morning before you come to practice (think bananas, energy bars, carbs/protein, etc..). Your body needs food to produce energy to paddle. We don't want you to get sick while out on the water. Also, bring water or Gatorade to hydrate yourself while paddling.
REMINDER 2: Rashguards are $17 for the short-sleeved/ $18 for the long-sleeved versions. Make checks payable to me or exact change PLEASE - if you won't be at practice, mail to me at: 27402 Sunnyridge Road, Palos Verdes Peninsula CA 90274!

I just wanted to say that it was an honor hosting you this weekend. Thank you so much for the great gift basket that you presented to the team. It was completely unnecesary but greatly appreciated. We ate the fruit after loading the 12 boats on the trailer 3 hours after the race ended. You will always have friends in SF should you decide to race here again. See you in Long Beach in '06...or maybe sooner in Las Vegas in April.

THANKS to Mike for letting us use his home for our Luau on SAT. Also for the exclusive tour of TK's closet. Pics are up on the web (TK, he MADE us take pictures of your shoes!)
OUR CONDOLENCES go out to Carla (and Renal) who lost her father on Saturday. Please remember her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
MIAMI trip planned for October 15-16. This will be the last race for us this year - it should be a fun time and will give us a chance to compete against some East Coast teams, have some really good Cuban food, tour the Everglades, see guys in Speedos, etc. - please try and make it - RSVP to the previous Evite sent out.
