Thanks to Dee and Mike for a great practice and steering clinic on Saturday. Great steering, Lorie, Tris, Carolyn and Brad!
Practice this weekend 3/5 and 3/6. ARIZONA AERODRAGONS - you MUST attend the 9:30A Saturday practice. Non-Arizona AeroDragons can attend either practice day. PLEASE RSVP FOR THE DAY YOU' RE COMING and make sure you arrive PROMPTLY at 9:30 SAT or 8:30 SUN for warm-up.
COACH DEE wants to make sure everyone is continuing his/her daily exercise routines --- 40 sit-ups and 40 push-ups + whatever other exercise program you're doing now
REMINDER: Make sure you have something to eat in the morning before you come to practice (think bananas, energy bars, carbs, etc.). Your body needs food to produce energy to paddle. We don't want you to get sick while out on the water. Also, bring water or Gatorade to hydrate yourself while paddling.
POTLUCK/BBQ AT COLORADO LAGOON (Long Beach) ON SAT MARCH 12TH (Noon to 4PM)
Colorado Lagoon is on the other side of Marine Stadium at 5119 E. Colorado St. Bring your favorite dish to share (salad, vegetable, dessert or something to BBQ for 8-10 people). Drinks and plates/utensils will be provided. There's a barbecue available to use and we're planning some fun activities.

The mandatory practice on Friday has been waived for us; no need to be in Tempe at 5PM.

Yes, practice was cancelled again this last Saturday due to weather. Steering Clinic re-rescheduled for this SAT 2/26 after practice. Kudos to the brave AeroDragons that paddled Sunday morning in the pouring rain and cold and thanks to the Whitney High School team for staying the extra hour to help fill our boat . . .

Carolyn and Dee are putting together a Masters team for Long Beach, and probably SFO and Vancouver. Practices should be 1-2 times a month in addition to regular AeroDragon practice. You need to be 40+ and dedicated. Contact Carolyn at carolinemj3@yahoo.com if you are interested.

Our deepest sympathy to Dee & Pat on the loss of their aunt Geneva Washington. Please remember her in your thoughts and/or prayers.
