|  |  | SCDBC Bowling Tournament - December 10, 2011AeroDragons competed with DPW, Killer Guppies, Space Dragons, Thunder Dragons and LARD at the 3rd Annual Southern California Dragon Boat Club (SCDBC) Bowling Tournament. AeroDragons did well coming in 2nd Place for 3 Highest Bowlers Total Pins with 539. Our own ELLEY DAI tied with KG for Highest Woman's Score with 156. | |  | Wounded Warrior Paddle Sport Camp - November 16, 2011AeroDragons participated in a Wounded Warrior Sports Camp organized by Madigan Army Medical Center and California Adaptive Rowing Program. Over 80 soldiers suffering from traumatic brain injuries (from shrapnel), post-traumatic stress syndrome and spinal chord injuries got a chance to paddle outrigger canoes, dragon boat and sculling. |

| |  | Catalina ChallengeAeroDragons become the 1st dragon boat team to cross the Catalina Channel (open ocean) in a dragon boat. The open ocean portion (Two Harbors, Catalina Island to Point Fermin buoy) took us 3 hours and 26 minutes. We continued on to Mothers Beach in Long Beach - our home base - for 34.52 miles in 5 hours 39 minutes! |

Some of our paddlers also competed in the Masters/Grand Masters Divisions. |

| |  | Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival - July 31 & August 1, 2010AeroDragons compete in the 2010 Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival. We also hosted/coached the corporate teams from Kaiser, Verizon and UPS this year. Our Women's team won 1st Place in the "B" Division. Our "A" team took 3rd place in Div IIA Finals, and AeroDragons "B" team took 2nd place in Div IIIBB. |
